There are four verses in the Srimad Bhagavatam that contain the whole text in a seed form. These four verses were transmitted from the Lord to Brahma at the beginning of the creation.
Very well written, and I certainly cannot argue with your article, or Prabhupada's purports. He refers to these verses as "nutshell verses", and "prime verses". But... in my experience 1:1:1 took my breathe away. I read the Higher Taste (the 1st half of that cookbook is actually a very good concise introduction) and I read Bhagavad Gita. When I went to read the Bhagavatam, 1:1:1 broke my brain (or fixed it?). The next 30 volumes seemed to be explaining the 1st verse.
I spoke to other devotees about this and they agreed, but I do not recall seeing Prabhupada speak of this. In your studies have you found any commentary by Srila Prabhupada along these lines?
Verse 1.1.1 is a kind of purport for the Vedanta Sutra, giving the conclusions of Vedic literature. The catuh sloki are the four verses the Lord spoke to Brahma, both are important.
Definitely a proper explanation which is quite transparent and certainly need to be followed. Thanks for your brilliance by krishna's mercy and where you are trying to reflect into our dark minds of those who are like me. Haribol.
