Many men in our society have the opinion that ladies should not receive an academic education, being instead trained to be good mothers and wives. Can it work? What are the complexities involved?

Do you think that mothers should stop working and take care of child till the child has grown to certain age ?
And also is wirking in a corporate job a good option for women as they would be busy all day long and may not be able to serve the family leading to keeping maids even for cooking etc. ?
